Pallada is looking forward to a new port

It is the 46th day of the round-the-world expedition of the frigate Pallada. Papeete is within 500 nautical miles from her current position. The crew is preparing to call at the main port of French Polynesia.

The vessel lives a full life. There are regular fitness classes and sport events on board. The crew and cadets are getting ready for New Year party.
There is also a small film theatre on board. One can watch movies after dinner on the main deck. There is a motion picture projector that projects movies on the sail.
The Pallada is in the Pacific. The weather conditions are favourable.
Two days ago, the sailing vessel passed Suwarrow (part of the Cook Islands) while heading to Tahiti.
