Solemn occasion on board of the Sedov

A delegation from the Russian Embassy in Uruguay visited the ship in Montevideo.

Ambassador extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Uruguay Nikolay Sapinskiy appealed to the meeting on the deck: "We were looking forward to see you, everyone knows about you and your great mission! »

The guests noted that Sedov's call was a significant event for Uruguay. Journalists and embassy representatives made a tour of the barque, talked to the crew and cadets about ship routine and some aspects of their profession.

In honor of the special guests Sedov's Chef prepared the best dishes of Russian cuisine. The guests and hosts exchanged souvenirs and and took a memorable photo. As a gesture of thanks the Ambassador arranged tours to various museums and historical sites in Montevideo for the cadets and crew.
