Rosrybolovstvo's sailing vessels are preparing for joint manoeuvres in the South Atlantic
The Pallada hosted a briefing for photographers and operators involved in the joint maneuvering of the Kruzenshtern, Sedov and Pallada in the South Atlantic and the 200-mile regatta in honor of the 200th anniversary of the discovery of Antarctica.
On February 17, the Pallada and Kruzenshtern conducted test manoeuvring. Shipboard- and quadrocopter-photo and video recording was arranged. Mikhail Novikov, the Captain-Instructor of the Kruzenshtern and Sedov, who coordinates the upcoming event, headed the briefing. Masters Nikolai Zorchenko and Mikhail Novikov watched the resulting video and photo content, agreed on joint actions and discussed other coordination issues with journalists.
Cosmonaut Sergey Ryazansky also attended the meeting as he is responsible for establishing connection with the International Space Station during the maneuvering. A test call to Pallada has already been made from the orbit, and the connection was excellent. Soon the cosmonauts will greet the participants of the expedition.
