The Pallada in Chile

On January 28, a delegation from the Russian Embassy in Chile, headed by the first Secretary of the consular Department Mikhail Osipov, arrived on Board. The guests brought a gift for the crew -- a cake with the image of the vessel. They also handed the crew and cadets the theme pictures painted by Embassy school children. The crew arranged a tour of the vessel for the guests.

The stay of the frigate Pallada will last until January 31, so, the crew and cadets will have an opportunity to visit the port of Valparaiso. Then the training sailing vessel will head towards Antarctica to round the legendary Cape Horn and arrive at the port of Ushuaia.
