Pallada passed Cape Horn

According to a centuries-old tradition the Pallada did it under sail only with the help of waves and wind.

Mst Nikolai Zorchenko congratulated the crew on passing Cape Horn. He said that special certificates of sailing around Cape Horn had also been prepared on board for all the crew and cadets. Moreover, the ones who have rounded Cape Horn under sail have a chance to join an International Association of Cape Horners (IACH).

According to Pallada's route, the next port of call will be Cape Town. Then the ship will go to Mauritius (Port Louis), Singapore, Brunei (Muara), Nagasaki and return to Vladivostok on June 9, 2020.
