The Pallada has celebrated the New Year in the South Pacific

At 22: 00 (ship's time), the frigate commenced drifting to get ready for the party. The crew and cadets were preparing for the performance near the mainmast. The mast was adorned with improvised decorations.

At 23: 00, the ship's band performed several wonderful songs.

The music was followed with Master's speech.

Sounds of Russian anthem marked the arrival of the New Year. Meanwhile, the vessel is heading to the Chilean seaport of Valparaiso.
