Cadets are boarding the Pallada

Heads of practice and 21 students from Kamchatka State Technical University have settled in the living accomodation of the vessel. After check-in an introductory briefing was conducted and the basic safety requirements were explained. The next stage of an introductory course (before leaving the port) will include fire-fighting drills, muster list clarification, SOLAS drills, medical first aid training.

In the coming days cadets from the Vladivostok Maritime Fishing College, FESTFU, Far Eastern Maritime School, and cadets from educational institutions of the Republic of Mari El are expected on board.

Totally, more than 100 cadets will take sea practice on the training sailing frigate Pallada.
