Vysotskiy evening on board
On the 25th of January a memorial evening was held on board of the Sedov in commemoration of a poet, actor, bard, and a talented person – Vladimir Vysotsky.
The head of the practice Pyotr Solodovnik told the audience about Vysotskiy's life and oeuvre.
Then the cadets Nikolai Arefyev, Stepan Obukhov, Alexey Geraskin, Dmitry Dzhumagaziev, Polina Ponomarenko sang a song by Vladimir Vysotsky with a guitar. In conclusion the cadets watched a feature film "Wind of Hope". It was made in 1977 by the famous Soviet Film Director Stanislav Govorukhin. The film is about adventures of cadets from Maritime schools heading to Australia on the training vessel Hope. The film features 7 songs by Vladimir Vysotsky.
