The Kruzenstern is on the island of eternal spring

The cadets had an opportunity to walk around Santa Cruz de Tenerife, they swam in the Atlantic Ocean and in the open-air pool, and even sunbathed on the beach.

On December 27, Yuri Korchagin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Spain and the Principality of Andorra, paid an official visit to the Kruzenstern. Captain Mikhail Eremchenko made a tour of the ship for the Ambassador and his entourage. Representatives of Tenerife port authorieies, city leaders and Embassy staff visited the ship.

Fresh water and food supplies were also replenished during the stay. The next port of call – Rio De Janeiro (Brazil), is 3,556 nautical miles away.
