The barque Sedov entered the North Sea
The barque Sedov passed the Danish Straits and went into the North Sea.
While sailing from the Baltic Sea to the North Sea the junior navigational officers made classes on maneuvering in confined waters. The cadets gained invaluable experience in duplicating the duties of the crew during strait passages. This area area belongs to high-traffic waters and one needs extra skills and knowledge of rules and regulations to sail there.
The barque Kruzenstern, making a transatlantic voyage, is currently on the beam of the city of Groningen and will soon head to Pas-De-Calais and the English Channel. The distance between the Kaliningrad barques is less than 200 nautical miles.
