The barque Sedov moved to Kaliningrad

The Sedov moved to Kaliningrad sea fishing port upon completion of repairs at the Svetlyy shipyard.
At the Svetlyy shipyard, the training sailing vessel underwent a thorough inspection and repair while preparing for an inspection conducted by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.

The shipyard works included checking of the fresh water tanks, partial renovation of accommodation and air conditioning system upgrading. Maintenance of the main and auxiliary engines was carried out in the engine room. Besides, there were minor repairs of ship systems, gears and mechanisms.

By now, the training sailing vessel of the Baltic state Academy of fishing fleet Sedov is fully seaworthy.

7 heads of practice and 111 cadets (including 12 girls) representing educational institutions of Kaliningrad, St. Petersburg, Murmansk, Yeisk, Astrakhan and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky have settled on the barque.
