The Kruzenshtern has ended participation in Hansa Sail 2013 and left Rostock
The barque is set to finally come back home in Kaliningrad on the 13th of August.
The Kruzenshtern has left Warnemünde on the 11th of August. During the final days in Germany, the barque has become the center of attention for Hansa Sail 2013 festival goers. The Kruzenshtern hosted a party for all the captains of all the festival vessels. The captain Mikhail Novikov received a paper model of the Kruzenshtern, while the new participants of the festival got the souvenir plates of Hansa Sail 2013.
During the stay in Germany, the Russian cadets had an opportunity to leave the vessel for a walk in Rostock. The road from Warnemünde to Rostock was absolutely free for all of the cadets as a part of Hansa Sail 2013 participation benefits.
On the 9th and 10th of August cadets from the Kaliningrad Marine Fishery College started passing the final tests for the diploma of electrician or motor-mechanic. However, due to the shortage of the voyage, later it has been decided later that the cadets would pass the tests at their college in Kaliningrad.
The Kruzenshtern is set to come back home in Kaliningrad on the 13th of August in the evening.
